Louisiana, you've been great. I'll miss you. Gator tour was so cool, the captain would call the gators out by name. They are shy and scared of people believe it or not. Then we stayed at an rv park on the edge of the French Quarter - I walked into town with Levi by myself and was scared to death. Big mistake, turned out ok but really stupid of me! The French Quarter is nothing pretty. But the food is to die for - Beignets from Cafe de Mundo are insane and then we had an (expensive!) dinner at Antoine's but the food was worth it. It's been around since 1840, the recipes are still the same as the when the great-grandfather opened it (family business still!). Pictures of US Presidents on the walls that ate there.
We're taking the dog, 2 cats, and the baby on our dream vacation - seeing the US in a motorhome! We hope to be on the road for 6 months.
